In this video interview, Tero Taskila, CEO of startup airline BEOND, shares the strategy for differentiating the carrier from others in the marketplace, as well as plans for a personalised passenger experience.

Following his Keynote Address at the recent co-located FTE EMEA and FTE Ancillary & Retailing events, Future Travel Experience caught up with Tero Taskila, CEO of all-premium, leisure-focused startup airline BEOND. In this video interview, he shares the strategy for differentiating BEOND from other airlines in the marketplace, as well as plans for a personalised passenger experience. “We operate the A321LR/XLR aircraft, reducing the number of seats to 68 and offering an enjoyable, lifestyle experience,” Taskila shares. “We have created an environment where you really feel that you are in a private jet. It’s very important for the passenger to be in control of their inflight entertainment, for example, so we have portable IFE devices to maximise individual experiences. Our aim is to create an immersive environment.”
