airBaltic has launched a new meal pre-order concept created to improve the inflight dining experience in Economy Class. The new concept features an even more diverse range of meals and a brand-new mix-and-match functionality, allowing passengers to customise up to 10 meal and drink options (up to five meal and up to five drink options) to meet their individual preferences and dietary needs.
Customers can now customise their order, whether it is just a drink and a snack, or a full-course meal. This innovation provides a diverse and personalised inflight dining experience.
Additionally, the new pre-order concept includes a variety of meal options that have not previously been on airBaltic’s menu, such as hot sushi, duck confit, ravioli with cup mushrooms, and more. Furthermore, it will continue to offer an even wider range of options for vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs, ensuring that every passenger can find something that suits them.
“We are continuously enhancing the inflight experience for our customers,” said Natalija Kuzmina, VP Customer Experience & Insights, airBaltic. “Our popular Economy Class meal pre-order service has been upgraded to offer new meal options and the ability for customers to customise their orders as they wish. Whether passengers want just a snack or cake with coffee, or a full-course meal, they can enjoy the flexibility to create their ideal meal combination. Furthermore, the new meal pre-order concept will significantly reduce waste, promote sustainability, and support a more environmentally friendly approach.”
